Dog's Best Friend (DBF) LLC, was founded in 2017 and through continued growth and learning has transitioned from your neighborhood dog walker to a certified dog trainer. After almost 6 years of walking and caring for clients dogs and picking up some training skills along the way the time finally came to take the final leap! Through dog walking I learned I had a special place in my heart for dogs struggling with fear, over reactive, and aggressive behaviors. Being able to enter a dogs inner circle with these behaviors felt so special to me because the time it took to build that bond with them. As I learned more and was able to start actually helping these dogs feel better and make meaningful changes that pet parents could also see, I knew I had found the next steps for DBF.

 

 In 2023 I officially became a certified dog trainer. My approach focuses on assessing the whole dog and helping families better understand there pets behavior and motivations. There are no quick fixes for anything. Through management, training, and consistency changes will come. This journey of learning to understand and guide your dog compassionately will result in an unparalleled bond and understanding of the furry friend you share your life with.
