Dog's Best Friend (DBF) LLC, was founded in 2017 and through continued growth and learning has transitioned from your neighborhood dog walker to a certified dog trainer. After almost 6 years of walking and caring for clients dogs and picking up some training skills along the way the time finally came to take the final leap! Through dog walking I learned I had a special place in my heart for dogs struggling with fear, reactivity, and aggressive behaviors. Being able to enter a dogs inner circle with these behaviors felt so special to me because the time it took to build that bond with them. As I learned more and was able to start actually helping these dogs feel better and make meaningful changes that pet parents could also see, I knew I had found the next steps for DBF.

 

 In 2023 I officially became a certified dog trainer specializing in reactive and aggressive behaviors. My passion for this specialty comes from helping pet owners understand and work through extremely frustrating and isolating behaviors their dog(s) are exhibiting. What was supposed to be an enjoyable walk with your pet is a nightmare and anxiety producing. Having friends over for dinner? Not in this house! It doesn't have to be this way though. 

DBF balances humane training techniques with realistic training plans so that you can all be successful in this journey. We take on a variety of clients as well!
